An analysis by the nonprofit Environmental Working Group (EWG) has shed light on just how widespread tap water contamination is in all 50 states and the district of Columbia. The contaminants include everything from arsenic, lead all the way to PFAS, also known as forever chemicals used in everything from firefighting foam to cosmetics and nonstick pans. What is even more troubling is that the EPA has not set limits as to how high the concentration of these forever chemicals are allowed in our tap water.
